Sebastian Blair's professional journey began as an engineering technician and evolved through a series of progressive roles, leading to his current position as a Lecturer in Electrical, Electronic, and Computer Engineering. Additionally, he serves as the Programme Leader for Computing for Emerging Technologies within the School of Engineering.

Sebastian has also worked as a Senior Lecturer in Computing Systems and Programme Leader for the Foundation Computing Suite at Canterbury Christ Church University.

As an active contributor to the field, Sebastian dedicates his time as an Education Officer for the South East region with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). His role as a STEM Ambassador further amplifies his impact, driving the STEM Hub’s initiatives forward. His commitment to education and innovation is also evident in his status as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Sebastian makes significant contributions to open-source technology, he is dedicated to maintaining NixOS and actively engages with various projects on GitHub, showcasing his passion for collaborative innovation and community-driven development.
